Public Education is at the HEART of Our Democracy

About Us

Having retired recently, we understand what current teachers in the public school system experience in this day and age. We are concerned with the lack of support public school teachers receive. We understand how rapidly technology has changed the curriculum and instructional landscape. We know what you are asked to do in the 7 ½ hour day cannot be done without additional support.  We are here to HELP!

We developed this platform because we want to support current teachers with qualified human resources to maximize students’ learning. Even though we have retired, we would like to share our expertise in a way that will help both student and teacher.

We know how much of a difference it can make to have another qualified adult helping in some manner in the classroom. We know you are experiencing more and more students who have behavior issues today and it does affect other students’ learning. We know every year, you are experiencing a higher percentage of students who qualify for free and reduced lunch. We understand the influx of English Language Learners in your classroom, as well as the increase of students with IEP’s. We believe each child with such special needs should be counted as 2 students not just 1 when teachers are assigned a class. We know you have experienced the shortage of federal and state funding for public education that has affected class sizes in recent years.   Large classes with today’s diverse group of students is inadequate and does not maximize learning. One of the biggest advantage private and charter schools have compared to a public school is class size. We want to even the playing field by helping you.

We believe Public Education is at the HEART of our Democracy and we want to preserve it!
